Yay!!!! for nuns!!! Yes, I know the SSM sisters in Boston. They have several convents, actually, but all of them are VERY different, and there is little contact between some of them that are on opposites ends of the theological spectrum. Walsingham is by far the most traditional. Some of the Boston SSM sisters have suggested that I might like it there a lot, especially since I teasingly complain to them a lot for not wearing habits most of them time (and they are terribly ugly and don't have veils either), and having awful modern liturgy, but none of them have actually met their Walsingham sisters.
(for anyone reading this comment who doesn't know me--I know I must sound like the most horribly shallow wannabe nun ever! I swear I'm not nearly as bad as it might appear, I just get convent crushes when I see pretty habits and liturgy...)
